The Shy Horse North restaurant is located near Kifissias High Street in a neoclassical building with garden. The establishment’s exterior space is interspersed with features designed to enhance its atmosphere. The most dominant of these is the complex piece of furniture which forms the countertop of the bar and accompanying sofa.
Under the shade of the trees, this organic and one-stroke object is made of wood and white marble. Following the trajectory of its curves are the horizontal wooden rods which decorate the furniture’s vertical surfaces and feature attractive dividing light spaces.
The light and shadow effects of the garden’s bamboo shoots and wooden rods are replicated by interior features such as the vertical brass poles.
Α similar wooden surface forms a high screen at the restaurant's entrance, isolating the interior garden from the main road outside. Bamboo shoots provide a natural fence along the visitor’s route from the entrance to the garden and interior space.
