Magma Resort Santorini is the winner of Iconic Awards

We are thrilled to have won the 'Best of Best' innovative Architecture for Magma Resort at the Iconic Awards!

We are deeply thankful for the appreciation the Jury gave to our work, who noted:

“On the Greek island of Santorini, the architecture firm People has discovered an exemplary way of bringing tourism and wellness into harmony with the local milieu.”

Placed in a mild terrain near the village of Vourvoulos in Santorini, it is surrounded by traditional ’pezoules’, large areas of cultivated land that follow the altitudes and are formed with stone walls. The design approach attempts to create a built form that is created from the interplay between contradictory - complementary elements that reference the particular setting and the wider location.
